A Great Dinner at Butcher's in Park City

Leslie Here:
This is my first review: This evening Russell and I stopped in for dinner at Butcher's (on Park Avenue in Park City) before going to a movie. We have been concentrating on healthy meals lately, so we decided to go with the Ahi Tuna entree, along with the Chili Dusted Salmon entree. The service was excellent - fast, pleasant, but not too hurried. We were offered bread but refused it tonight, determined to go for protein and veggies if possible.
It is hard to say which dish we liked better. I might lean towards the Ahi Tuna because it was served on a generous bed of delicious sauteed vegetables and mushrooms. Both entrees were spicy - the Ahi Tuna came with a very hot dipping sauce, that, along with the pepper encrusting the Ahi, made for a spicy, mouth-watering combination. I have to admit that we had a coupon for two entrees for the price of one, or we might have chosen to share only one entree.
The salmon was served over black beans - a sensible portion and the fillet was dusted with chili powder. It was very tasty, especially when combined with the daub of guacamole served on top.
I almost forgot to mention, with dinner I had iced tea and it was perfect by my standards. So often iced tea is served too strong (making it bitter) for my West Texas taste. We drink lots of iced tea without sugar in West Texas - this tea was perfect. Russ chose a Cutthroat Pale Ale and we were both so satisfied that we were able to attend the movie without buying even a small popcorn.
